TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Throughout the fall, Seminoles.com will take a closer look at this year’s class of newcomers. The second ‘Getting To Know’ segment of the 2013 season features freshman midfielder Marlo Sweatman from Herndon, Va.

Florida State welcomes seven new players in 2013 including six freshmen and one transfer. Three student-athletes joined the Seminoles a semester early enrolling during the spring 2013 semester, while this year’s class also includes one international player.

Why did you choose Florida State?
I chose Florida State because I loved everything about it. The atmosphere on campus is amazing. From soccer to academics everything seemed to be the perfect fit.
