TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Throughout the fall, will take a closer look at this year’s class of newcomers. The sixth ‘Getting To Know’ segment features freshman defender/midfielder Rylee Hart from Pace High School in Pace, Florida.

Florida State welcomes 12 new players in 2012 including 11 freshmen and one transfer. Two student-athletes joined the Seminoles a semester early enrolling during the spring 2012 semester, while this year’s class also includes four international players.

What one word comes to mind when you hear Florida State Soccer?

Where has been your favorite place to visit?
Memphis, Tennessee

Who is your biggest role model?
My mom

Favorite soccer team?
U.S. Women’s National Team

What kind of pillow pet do you have and what is its name?
Cinderella’s horse and its name is Sparkles

Biggest soccer moment?
Sadly, it would have to be tearing my ACL for the second time.

Favorite athlete?
Sam Bradford

What is one thing you can’t live without?
Oreos – the regular chocolate oreos and not the double stuffed. Just the normal ones

Why did you choose Florida State?
It was close to home which was important to me. The coaching staff was really nice; everyone was really nice and welcoming. The facilities are the best in the country along with the team being so great.
