Grothe Out For The Season

ESPN.com reports today that USF senior quarterback Matt Grothe is out for the season after tearing his ACL in the Bulls 59-0 win over Charleston Southern on Saturday.

Grothe had started 48 straight games for the Bulls and became the Big East leader in career offense with 10,875 yards.
Redshirt freshmen B.J. Daniels and Evan Landi will now take over the quarterbacking duties for the remainder of the season.
#18 Florida State and USF meet at Doak Campbell Stadium this Saturday at noon.  The game can be seen on ESPNU and heard on the Seminole ISP Sports Network.
