TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) –
Florida State University head men’s basketball coach Leonard Hamilton will appear on Issues in Education with FSU president Eric Barron beginning Oct. 9 at 10:00 on WFSU-Television. The program will air throughout the month of October on 4fsu (Comcast Channel 4 in Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla counties) on Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m., Fridays at 6:00 p.m., and Sundays at 7:00 p.m.
The program is centered on Florida State’s recent acquisition and the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee. The group (including host Suzanne Smith and Karen Moore of Moore Communication) discusses the needs and the new plans for the Tucker Center with Hamilton providing a perspective from the of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the aspects he hopes will be included in the plans.
Hamilton has put together nine 20-win seasons in the last 13 years, taken nine of his 11 teams at Florida State to the postseason and cemented the Seminoles as the third winningest program in the ACC since the start of the 2005-06 season. He is poised to become the Seminoles’ all-time winningest coach and enters the 2013-14 season ranked 12th in the illustrious history of the ACC in career victories.
The Seminoles will host their annual season opening celebration of the upcoming season as Seminole Madness comes to the Tucker Center on October 11 at 7:00 p.m.
