Leonard Hamilton, head coach of the Florida State basketball team, will host the second of two Roundball Club luncheons Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 11:30 in the third floor ballroom at the University Center Club on the Florida State campus. Hamilton and his staff will gather along with friends and alumni as they discuss game strategy, team goals and take questions from those in attendance. At 18-7 and 8-3 in ACC play, Florida State is working its to playing in a school record tying third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. With an 8-3 conference record, the Seminoles are in third place in the ACC standings and preparing to play in their final five regular season league games of the season. Florida State has finished in the top four of the ACC standings in both of the last two seasons.
Florida State is one of only two teams in the nation with a victory over a No. 1 ranked team so far this season as the Seminoles defeated No. 1 ranked Duke, 66-61, on Jan. 12.
Florida State will travel to play its next game at Wake Forest Saturday in a game beginning at 1:00 p.m. The game will be televised by the ACC Network. The Seminoles have won seven of their last nine games since defeating No. 1 ranked Duke and are the second winningest program in the ACC in the last three seasons.
Additionally, fans can order single game tickets for the two remaining men’s home basketball games. In addition to Miami on Feb. 26 the Seminoles will play host to North Carolina on March 2 – senior night for Derwin Kitchen, Andrew Rutledge and A.J. Yawn.
There are two options to choose from, including $9 upper level seats. Regular priced tickets are $18.
