All the buzz is about Florida State Football, fresh off a 9-win season and a pummeling of Big 10 power Wisconsin in the Champs Sports Bowl.
Come check out all the excitement at Doak Campbell Stadium this fall as the Seminoles make their push towards their 13th ACC Championship and their seventh BCS appearance.
Starting quarterback Christian Ponder returns with a full year of experience under his belt along with his entire staring offensive front. Anchored by preseason All-America guard Rodney Hudson, the powerful offensive line should provide Ponder with enough protection to search for Seminole receivers in the opposing secondary and give sophomore running back Jermaine Thomas the lanes to turn in those highlight reel, jaw-dropping runs.
The Seminole Defense has something to offer those of us who love low-scoring, bone-jarring defensive battles.
Defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews will depend on seniors like linebacker Dekoda Watson and cornerback Patrick Robinson to lead a unit comprised of veteran playmakers and talented newcomers. Andrews said he has more talent on defense than he’s had in years–and that doesn’t count the incoming freshmen who are expected to challenge for playing time
right when they step onto the Al Dunlap practice fields this summer.
It’s time to get loud and proud Seminole fans! It’s time to lead your friends to the ticket office to buy season tickets and head into Doak Campbell Stadium this fall where 83,000 other Seminoles will help you make Florida State the #1 school for college football in the country.
