TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State men’s basketball program is just days away from officially being allowed to commence practice for the 2011-12 season and you, the fans, have the opportunity to start it with them at the “Jam With Ham” at Seminole Madness.
This Friday at 6 p.m., head coach Leonard Hamilton and his squad will take to the court at the Donald L. Tucker Center and everyone is invited to come watch — free of charge.
In addition to getting the chance to see the Seminoles up close and personal and watch a scrimmage, fans that come out to the event will also see a dunk and 3-point contest among the FSU players and a free-throw shooting contest that will feature both fans and players as well.
If that isn’t enough, there will be lots of prizes like flat-screen TVs, computers and cash available to be won. There will also be interactive games where fans can answer live questions for prizes.
The entire event will be streamed live on Seminoles.com so if you are not in the Tallahassee area, you have the chance to see all the action on your computer.
The Seminoles’ regular season gets started on Nov. 11 with a home game against Jacksonville at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the online ticket store or by calling 1-888-FSU-NOLE.
