NOTES ON Okaro White’S TEAM LEADING FREE THROW PERCENTAGE…
…Okaro White led the Seminoles with a .828 free throw shooting mark during the 2010-11 season to mark the fourth consecutive season at least one Florida State player has shot 80 percent or better from the free throw line;
…Okaro White started the final 13 games of the season and shot .850 from the free throw line (34 of 40) including 13 of 14 in the NCAA Tournament. He was perfect from the free throw line against both Texas A&M and VCU;
…Okaro White shot .809 from the free throw line in the first 21 games of the season when he came off the bench as a reserve player for the Seminoles. He moved above the 80 percent mark for the season with a six of six performance from the free throw line against Miami on Jan. 19 and never fell below the 80 percent line during the remainder of the season;
…Okaro White missed one free throw in his last seven games of his freshman season and enters the 2011-12 season having made six consecutive free throws;
…Okaro White scored 32 percent of his points (72 of 223) from the free throw line – the only Seminole regular to score at least 30 percent of his points from the free throw line during the 2010-11 season;
