JAMES LOOKING TO LEAD SEMINOLES IN BLOCKS IN TWO CONSECUTIVE SEASONS
Senior All-American and All-ACC candidate Bernard James enters his senior season looking to lead the Seminoles in blocked shots for the second consecutive season. He led the Seminoles and ranked third in the ACC in blocked shots with 82 and a 2.4 blocked shots per game average. James’ 82 blocked shots ranked as the second highest single season total in school history and is already the 14th highest career total in school history. He needs only 18 blocked shots to reach 100 and become only the 11th player in school history to block 100 or more career shots. James is looking to become only the second junior college transfer in school history (also Alton Lee Gipson, 101 blocked shots, 1984-85) to block 100 or more career shots.
