The Florida State volleyball team (3-7) returns to the friendly confines of Lucy McDaniel Court at Tully Gym on Friday and Sunday to continue ACC action…The Seminoles battle Georgia Tech on Friday and look to snap a seven-match losing streak to the Yellow Jackets…Sunday the Seminoles will host Clemson at 1:00 p.m…Florida State is coming off its first conference victory of the season with a 3-1 win over Boston College…Junior setter Jessica Skower had a career-high eight block assists and 55 set assists and Summer Weissing registered 23 digs…The win was the volleyball program’s 800th victory of all time…On the season, senior Kristen Rust leads the offense with 3.30 kills, 2.41 digs, 0.32 aces, and 0.65 blocks per game…Weissing averages 4.08 digs per outing…Makini Thompson has a team-best 34 total blocks…On the season, Florida State averages a .163 average while its opponents hit .221…The Seminoles are out-hit 14.35 kpg  to 13.51 kpg and out-served 1.62 apg – 1.11 apg…The Tribe excels in blocking where they edge opponents 2.62 bpg – 2.61 bpg…2-of-3 FSU wins came in four games…The Seminoles have been swept four times…Injuries have finally calmed down as junior setter Zrinka Tomic (stress fracture) is the lone Tribe member expected to miss this weekend’s matches…In the latest ACC rankings, Skower (assists) and Weissing (digs) rank seventh in the league in their respective categories…Skower needs 11 more assists to be ranked sixth all-time in Florida State history.
