Outfielder from Sarasota…lettered for three years and started for two and a half years for the Seminoles…batted over .402 all three years and had a career .427 batting average…his top 25 season records include Batting Average (3rd-.450 in 2001, 12th-.403 in 2000 – even though he hit .436 in 1999 he did not have enough at bats to qualify for the top 25 list), Slugging Percentage (6th-.797 in 2001), At Bats (11th-300 in 2000), Hits (4th-121 in 2000 and 11th-113 in 2001), Doubles (33 in 2000 and 30 in 2001), Home Runs (18th-19 in 2001) and Total Bases (8th-200 in 2001 and 18th-187 in 2000)…top 25 career marks include Batting Average (1st-.427), Slugging Percentage (8th-.686), On Base Percentage (4th-.506), Runs (25th-193), Hits (10th-292) Doubles (1st-78), Home Runs (23rd-31), Total Bases (11th-469)…had a 23 game hitting streak in 2000…helped lead the Seminoles to the College World Series in 1999 (2nd place), 2000 (3rd) and the Super Regional in 2001,,,ACC Player of the Year in 2001…earned 2nd team All-American honors in 2000 and NCAA Consensus All-American honors in 2001…played two years with the Toronto Blue Jays.
