Tallahassee, FL. – Florida State University is proud to be entering the 30th year of women’s
intercollegiate athletics. FSU will kick off its 30th Anniversary
celebration this fall with a reunion weekend and will conclude in the
spring with the dedication of its new state-of-the-art soccer/softball

Lady Seminole 30th Anniversary Reunion Weekend

Events include a former athlete reception, the 30th Anniversary brunch and
home athletic events including women’s tennis, volleyball, soccer and

* Golf, 1981 NAIA National Champions
* Softball, 1981, 1982 AIAW National Champions
* Track, 1984 NCAA Outdoor National Champions
* Track, 1985 NCAA Indoor National Champions

Gabrielle Reece at Florida State
* Lettered at Florida State, 1987-90
* Inducted into the Florida State Athletics Hall of Fame in 1997
* Reece earned AVCA All-Region honors in 1989 and was a two-time All-Metro
Conference selection.
* The Lady Seminoles placed first in the Metro Conference in three of
Reece’s four seasons at FSU and made NCAA postseason appearances all four
