A total of six of the nation’s top 25 ranked teams are in the top seven places in the team standing in this event. Daniel Miernicki of Oregon shot a 69 and is the clubhouse leader with a two round total of 131. He shot an amazing score of 10 under par 62 in the first round to grab the individual lead.
“Our freshmen are going improve with this experience,” said Head Coach Trey Jones. “They have competed one college team tournament between the two of them prior to this event. Drew and Brooks are leaving shots around the pin. They have been putting well but have not made the putts they normally make.”
The Seminoles will play in the final round of the event beginning at 12:30 p.m. (EST).
