Kozlowski’s ACC Indoor Tournament Run Ends in Semifinals

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Davidson Kozlowski was knocked out of the ACC Men’s
Indoor Championships today, but not before an impressive run through the
tournament that landed him in the semifinals.

Kozlowski lost the semifinal match to Duke University’s Pedro Escudero in
straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. Kozlowski’s run earned him some valuable
experience as well as some confidence. Two of the four opponents whose
tournaments he ended were seeded in the Top 10, including No.1 seed Brain
Vahaly of the University of Virginia.

Kozlowski was joined at the ACC Indoors by teammate Ty Braswell.
Combined the FSU representatives compiled a record of 5-2 for the singles
portion of the tournament. The two will next be in action Friday in
Tallahassee against Jacksonville University at 3:30pm.
