Lady Seminole Golf Invitational Starts Friday

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State women’s golf team begins its
1999-2000 season on Friday when they host the eight-team Lady Seminole
Invitational at the Seminole Golf Course and Club.

Other schools participating include: Mississippi State, Kentucky,
South Alabama, Rollins, Florida International, Jacksonville and Stetson.

“I am looking forward to the season getting underway,” said Florida
State head coach Debbie Dillman. “We have a very young team but I think it
is a team of potential.”

The 54-hole tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Florida
State’s first player tees off at 10:20 a.m. Play gets underway at 8:30
a.m. on Saturday and at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Seminole Golf Course will play 5,935 yards long for the tournament.

The Lady Seminoles finished 13th at the NCAA Championships last season.
