Larsson Continues To Lead Seminoles At LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic

Senior Caroline Larsson continued to top the Seminoles’ lederboard at the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic as she carded a 78 and is in a tie for 28th place in the individual standings after two rounds of the three round event. The Seminoles remained in 13th place in the 18 team tournament with final round play beginning Sunday morning.

Melissa Eaton of Lousiana State carded a six-under par 66 in the second round as moved into first place in the individual standings. Auburn holds a two stroke lead over the host Lady Tigers in the team standings. Auburn has a 586 team total after two rounds while LSU is two strokes behind at 588.

Caroline Westrup, a freshman playing in the first tournament of her collegiate career for the Seminoles, carded a one-over par score of 73 and is in a tie for 31st place in the individual standings. She moved up from 49th place after the first round as she looks to play well in her first event at Florida State.
