Lerew Named 2002 ACC Meet Most Valuabe Diver

COLLEGE PARK, Md. –
Florida State sophomore Chelsie Lerew was named 2002 Atlantic Coast Conference Most Valuable Diver Saturday night following her championship performance on the three-meter at the conference meet. This is the second most valuable diver award for Lerew who won it in 2001, as well.


Lerew won the three-meter title with a score of 523.05. In the preliminaries for the three-meter, Lerew set a conference mark with a score of 544.75. On Thursday, Lerew placed second on the one-meter.


Lerew and her teammates swept both the one and three-meter events at the ACC meet by placing first through third in both events.
