Owen Long “Out of Bounds”

Q. What is your major and what do you plan to do with your degree?
A: My major is Sports Management and I would like to get my master’s degree in Sport’s Management at Florida State. I would like to work in the sports field, maybe for an agency representing athletes.

Q. What are some of your favorite hobbies?
A: I like to hang out with friends, go to the movies and do other things that don’t involve tennis. I like to play golf, I’m really competitive. I go out there once a week with a bunch of my friends. Me and the players are really close, we’re kind of like a family.

Q. Are you involved in any other organizations on campus?
A: Yes I’m involved in SAAC, Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

Q. Describe Life in Tallahassee?
A. I’m from Tallahassee. I like it but I just try to stay away from home as much as possible. It’s weird going to college in your hometown. I’m a big fan of Brooklyn Pizza.

Q. What are you raving about this year?
A: I’m a huge fan of Entourage, which just ended this season. I also pretty big into my iPhone, I’m waiting for my upgrade to get the new one.

Q. Any Guilty Pleasures?
A: I’m a fan of Matthew McConaughey movies.

Q. Besides tennis what are some other sports you enjoy watching?
A: I love watching football. I do not like watching tennis on television, but I’m a big fan of golf, football and basketball. I’m a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings.
