TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – Building on a second place finish in the ACC and a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament a year ago, Florida State men’s basketball season ticket renewals and new ticket sales begin Monday, July 17 for the 2017-18 campaign. The Seminoles’ 16-game home schedule includes defending National Champion North Carolina, Louisville, Syracuse, Miami and Virginia during the ACC schedule as well as George Washington and Southern Miss.
Florida State finished its 2017 home schedule with an undefeated 18-0 mark including an 9-0 record in ACC games. The Seminoles open the 2017-18 season with a 21-game unbeaten streak at the Donald L. Tucker Center dating to the final three games of the 2015-16 season. Florida State was one of only two ACC teams to finish with an undefeated record at home while advancing to the NCAA Tournament.

Tickets purchased under this plan could be in a different location for each game.
Florida State was ranked as high a No. 6 nationally last season and finished the season ranked 16th by the Associated Press and 24th in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Seminoles tied the school record with seven victories over nationally ranked teams and came within one victory of tying the school record for wins in a season with a 26-9 record.
Florida State returns five players who played at least 35 games and seven who averaged at least 10 minutes played per game and welcomes its fifth consecutive top-15 recruiting class to its roster for the 2017-18 season.
Led by two-time ACC Coach of the Year Leonard Hamilton (the eighth winningest coach in ACC history), the Seminoles return a strong group of players that helped them complete an undefeated season at home last season. Forward Terance Mann returns as the Seminoles’ leading scorer (8.4 ppg) and rebounder (4.5 rpg) after starting 34 of 35 games as a sophomore. Mann has played in 69 games during the first two seasons of his career.
Sophomores CJ Walker and Trent Forrest, along with junior college transfers Braian Angola-Rodas and PJ Savoy will anchor the Seminoles’ backcourt while 7-4 center Christ Koumadje patrols the paint.
The Seminoles’ recruiting class – headlined by McDonald’s All-American M.J. Walker – is once again one of the top groups of newcomers in the ACC. Joining Walker is 7-0 newcomer Ikey Obiagu, 6-8 power forward Raiquan Gray, guard Anthony Polite and forward Wyatt Wilkes.
