THE 2010 WOLFPACK INTERCOLLEGIATE FIELD

The event will be played at the Lonnie Poole Golf course – an Arnold Palmer designed course which opened during the summer of 2009. The course is an 18-hole, par 71, 7,358-yard course which is the new home of the NC State golf program. Duke is the two-time defending team champion while NC State’s Matt Hill earned medalist honors in 2009 with a four stroke victory.

SEMINOLES WITH THREE VICTORIES THIS YEAR
No. 12 Florida State begins play in the 2010 Wolfpack Intercollegiate with three team championships this year – the fall season opening GolfWeek Challenge, the Gary Koch Intercollegiate and the Florida State hosted Seminole Intercollegiate in March. Under Seminole head coach Trey Jones, the Seminoles have won more events in the last three seasons (seven) than had been won by the program in the previous nine seasons (six) before his arrival for the 2003-04 season. Florida State needs one more team championship to match its recent season-high total of four team championships during the 1994-95 season.
