Men’s Golf in 14th Place after One Round

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida State men’s golf team is in a tie for 14th place after one round of the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship at the Queen’s Harbour Country Club. The Seminole team score of 308 ties them with East Tennessee State University.

Mark Donaldson is tied for fourth place after firing an opening-round one-under 71 on Sunday. Donaldson is tied with Shawn Matthews of Tulsa and Steve Bradley of Florida. Kris Hannah is tied for 47th place after carding a 77 on Sunday. Craig Cochran and Matt Ackley are tied for 66th after posting rounds of 80. Nathan Bertsch rounded out the scoring for the Seminoles with an 83 in the first round.

The final two rounds of the tournament will be played on Monday at the Queen’s Harbour Country Club.
