TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – The Florida State Men’s Golf team looks to come away with a good showing this weekend as it competes in the SunTrust Gator Invitational held Feb. 18-19 at Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla.
The 15-team tournament includes host and rival Florida, as well as ACC member Wake Forest and fellow in-state teams UNF, USF, UCF and Jacksonville. The Seminoles are bringing redshirt senior Cristobal Del Solar, senior Josh Lee, redshirt junior Harry Ellis, senior Anthony Alex and redshirt freshman Jonathan Keppler.
A shot-gun start will be conducted on Saturday morning, with all golfers teeing off at 8 a.m. The golf course is a par-70, 6,701-yard landscape. It has been played frequently by Florida State over the years, as FSU has competed in the SunTrust Gator Invitational 28 times.
