FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES

The Seminoles are coming off a 69-58 loss to 10th-ranked Temple at home on Monday to drop to 2-2. FSU’s two losses this season have come to teams ranked in the AP Top 10…Senior Ron Hale led Florida State with 21 points and eight rebounds while hitting a career-high five three-pointers in the contest. Hale is averaging 20.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game and making 42.1 percent from three-point range (8-of-19) this year…The Seminoles hit a season-low 29.9 percent from the floor (20-of-67) against Temple’s match-up zone. It was FSU’s worst field goal shooting performance since making just 26.8 percent (11-of-41) in a 78-49 home loss to Clemson on Feb. 15, 1998…Florida State turned the ball over a season-low 11 times in the Temple game. After committing 29 miscues in the season-opener, the Tribe has committed only 39 turnovers in its last three contests (13.0 per game)…Sophomore David Anderson blocked three shots versus Temple and has 12 so far, more than half of last year’s starting post players Oliver Simmons and Justin Mott‘s combined total of 21.
