TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –The Seminoles are coming off a 111-108 double overtime loss at home to Georgia Tech on Thursday night. Terrell Baker led FSU with 26 points while Ron Hale added 24. Baker and Hale, along with three other Florida State players fouled out of the game…The contest was the Seminoles’ first two-overtime game since beating Jacksonville 104-99 on Jan. 8, 1990. It was also the first FSU game where both teams broke the century mark since Florida State fell 101-100 at LaSalle on Feb. 23, 1989…In addition to his 26 points, Baker had three steals. He has 66 on the year, tied for ninth on the school’s season list and 125 in his career to rank 12th all-time…Greenville, SC native Damous Anderson made his third straight start in the Georgia Tech game. He had 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting and six rebounds in 31 minutes before fouling out. Anderson is averaging 14.0 points in his last nine games.

The Tigers are coming off a 79-69 loss at Wake Forest on Wednesday, their second straight loss. Senior guard Terrell McIntyre led Clemson with 23 points in the defeat…McIntyre has broken the 20-point mark in seven of his last 10 games, including a season-high tying 27 in the first meeting with FSU. He is averaging 17.3 points on the year and 22.7 in the last three games…After opening the year 11-1, the Tigers have lost 10 of their last 12 games. Clemson is in last place in the ACC with a 2-9 record, after being picked fourth in the preseason…Senior forward Harold Jamison is second in the league in rebounding at 9.0 per game. The Tigers are tied for third in the ACC in rebounding margin, beating their opponents by 6.8 per game.
Sunday’s game marks the 28th meeting between Florida State and Clemson. The Seminoles own a 15-12 advantage in the series, which dates back to Dec. 28, 1951…FSU won the first meeting of the season by a 70-64 count on Jan. 12 in Tallahassee as Ron Hale posted a career-best 31 points…Florida State is 10-6 against the Tigers since joining the ACC in 1991-92 but has lost four of the last six in the series…The Seminoles are 4-3 against Clemson in Littlejohn Coliseum since joining the ACC. Five of those games have been decided by eight points or less and three by two or fewer.
