Men’s Tennis Hosts Georgia Tech

TALLAHASSE, Fla. — The Florida State men’s tennis team enters their final match of the regular season with a 13-8 overall record and a 3-4 record in the ACC. Their opponent, Georgia Tech, comes into Saturday’s match with a record of 11-6 and 4-2 in the ACC.

The 50th-ranked Seminoles are led by a trio of seniors, Ty Braswell, Yvo Niks, and Davidson Kozlowski. Niks and Braswell, join sophomore Chad Mooney as team leader’s in overall wins. All three Seminoles have 19 wins heading into the match against the 64th-ranked Yellow Jackets. Kozlowski teams with freshman Jeff Scarella to form FSU’s No. 1 doubles team. Freshman Noah Schnell and junior Mike Ingham have provided the Seminoles with excellent depth this season at the No. 4 through 6 positions. Ingham will return next season as the only senior on the squad, Schnell looks to add on to his impressive debut on the college scene by earning his 10th victory of the season on Saturday.
