Men’s Tennis Loses to Rival Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State Seminoles men’s tennis team recorded
their first lost of the season falling to the University of Florida, 6-1,
Wednesday at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center in Tallahassee. FSU’s record
now stands at 8-1 on the season.


The lone winner on the day for FSU was Yvo Niks at No. 3 singles. Niks’
6-2, 7-6 win over Nathan Overholser improved his record to 18-3 on the
season and 9-0 in dual match play this spring.


The Seminoles play again on March 9th when they open up ACC play versus
Wake Forest in Tallahasse at 2:30 p.m.
