Men’s Tennis Travels To Miami

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 23 Florida State men’s tennis team (10-2, 2-0) travels to face off against the No. 52 Miami Hurricanes (6-2, 0-0) on Sunday, March 4, at 2:30 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. Miami leads the series with a 46-13 record but FSU has won four of the last five meetings.

Junior Andres Bucaro is leading the Seminoles with a 10-0 record this spring while sophomore Blake Davis is 9-3. Freshman Cristian Gonzalez Mendez and senior Jason Zafiros each have won eight matches while Benjamin Lock is having a solid freshman campaign with a 5-2 mark.

Junior Jordan Kelly-Houston is 7-4 on court one playing against the toughest competition in the nation. Junior Anderson Reed (6-0) and freshman Dominic Cotrone (3-0) are undefeated.

Cotrone and Reed have paired up for a 9-2 doubles record while Lock and Bucaro are 10-1.
