Account Executive Sales and Service

Michael LaRocco joined Florida State University’s staff in January of 2014 with the goal of assisting the Director of Ticket Operations in sales and retention while growing the Seminoles Booster organization.
LaRocco provides daily contact with season ticket holders and boosters while providing customer service and ticket information. This affords an excellent opportunity to cultivate and develop new donors and relationships with the FSU community.

Prior to FSU, LaRocco served as the Assistant Box Office Manager at the BB&T Center with the NHL’s Florida Panthers (November 2011 – November 2013). Working with the Sr. Vice President of Corporate Sales, he processed all incoming sales and personal seat licenses for all premium seat inventories. The Findlay, Ohio native also gained valuable experience as a Sr. Account Executive and Owl Club Coordinator with Florida Atlantic University’s athletics department while overseeing the Owl Club booster organization and posting over $500,000 in new sales for FAU’s new, state-of-the-art 30,000 seat football stadium that opened in 2011. LaRocco managed the box office operations, ticket inventory, created seating manifests and reconciled all daily monetary batches. He also has held positions with the Detroit Pistons and the Asheville (N.C.) Tourists baseball club – the single A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

LaRocco earned his master’s of Business administration from the University of Findlay in 2006. He received his undergraduate degree in Communications from Jacksonville University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005. While at JU, LaRocco was voted 2004-05 Communication Student of the Year by the faculty and staff and he headed the business operations for JU’s student newspaper.

LaRocco has also been heavily involved with organizations such as Doug’s Kids and Champion Health that mentor youth through athletics.
