Seminole Fun Facts
This section is to allow you to get to know the Seminole softball team up close and personal. Hopefully these questions will give you insight on what the team does on day to day bases and get you more familiar with the girls one-on-one.
WHAT IS A FUN FACT ABOUT YOUR FAMILY?
BillieAnne Gay: “My whole family is musical”
Robyn Petrovich: “My sister (Kim) can wiggle her eyeballs”
Kim Petrovich: “My sister (Robyn) is a dork! Nah, she’s cool”
IF YOU COULD DUO WITH ANY FAMOUS SINGER, WHO WOULD IT BE?
LaShaun Davis: “Usher”
Moe:”Any cast member from the Broadway Musical RENT”
Carly Brieske:”Moe Wood, we compliment each others voices well”
side note: (How embarrassing. I’m not famous YET Carly)
WHAT LOCATION WOULD YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING?
Whitney Buckmon: “Vieques Island, Puerto Rico”
Veronica Wootson: “On the beach, during the evening with fireworks”
Kayla Collins:”The church where my parents were married, honeymoon in the Bahamas”
This section of Moe’s World is where I will interview one member of the softball program with some of the most random and unanswerable questions that I could think of. Hopefully you can think of some witty answers of your own and play along with us.
Second Interview: Natasha Jacob (Senior Outfielder)
MOE: We have to fill out Academic Reports here on the Florida State softball team, and a lot of the time we use a number 2 pencil. So, if the number 2 pencil is considered the best and most popular, why is it still number 2?
TASH: Just because it’s number 2 doesn’t mean that it’s bad. First is the worst, second is the best, and preferably I like the number 2 pencil. I don’t think I’d use it if it was number 1.
MOE:You steal a lot of bases here at FSU, but if you were to steal a “Clean Slate” would it go on your record?
TASH: Ah, yes! (Laughing), it goes on a good record though, not a bad record.
MOE: This fall our softball team took a trip to Maine where we got the opportunity to go Whale Watching. But… If swimming is such good exercise, then why are whales so fat?
TASH: Because the water is so cold, so they have to have a lot of fat and blubber to keep themselves insulated and nice and warm. Plus, it keeps them floating. Fat floats, you know!!!
MOE: When I went to your house I noticed that you had a cat named “Kitty”. So I was wondering if you threw your cat out of a moving car, would he be considered “Kitty Litter”?
TASH: No, he would be called road kill. “Kitty Road Kill”.
MOE:If I told you that I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?
TASH: Ahh…. YEAH!!! (laughing hysterically) That’s a tough one.
MOE:We are not allowed to gamble, but I have always wanted to know why you never see the headline “Psychic Wins ßßßßßßß”. Can you tell me?
TASH: Because… (really struggling) t-ugh I don’t know. It’s probably because if they let everybody know the secret, I mean technically, all the ßßßßßßß winners would be psychics. Think about it!
MOE: I’ve noticed that we have synchronized swimmers in our Leach Center at school, but if one swimmer drowns, do they all have to drown?
TASH: No. (Laughing), they just let that one go and then they just pick up the slack and keep in formation. That’s key.
A special thanks to Tash for playing along and being such a good sport!!!
