TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – On Wednesday, Seminole guard Monte Cummings will make a special visit to the ESPN.com moderated chat room to talk about the 2001-02 basketball season.
Cummings, a junior from Quincy, Florida, is the team’s leading scorer at 15.1 points per game. He is also contributing 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game this year for the 9-7 Seminoles. On Sunday (1/20), Cummings chipped in 19 points and two rebounds in a 91-74 loss to Virginia.
Last season, Cummings averaged 10.7 points and 3.3 rebounds (second on the team) during his first season as a Division I player. Cumming transferred to Florida State after playing one year at Southeastern Community College and serving four years in the U.S. Army.
