Sunday, November 1, 1998 at 2:00 PM against Auburn WE PLAY FOR KEEPS…
Sunday, November 1, 1998 at 2:00 PM will someday be a bitter-sweet part of Seminole history. It will be bitter becuase we will never again be able to see the seven seniors from the inaugural soccer team at Seminole Stadium. It will be sweet because these eight senior classy ‘Noles have left their mark on Seminole Soccer that will forever live in Seminole tradition. This year’s Soccer theme was known as “Building a Tradition”. Well, it appears the tradition is built, and it is built well. At season’s end we will dearly miss all the ‘Noles; but the eight we will miss most are: #3 Molly Nye, #5 Alexandra Osorio, #6 Lauren Lynch, #7 Janine Lavoie, #10 Janna Walkup, #13 Melissa Juhl, #15 Jill Ford, and #23 Jessica Driscoll. Though it seems each of us has our personal recolection of which moment was truly each athlete’s greatest moment while here at FSU; we all must agree that each athlete has many moments to choose from. This is a team we laughed with, won with, celebrated with, and probally will shed a tear with on Sunday, November 1st when we send off these eight senior Lady Seminoles. So come on out for one last laugh, one last cheer, and one last win for the year on Sunday, November 1st when FSU gets it on with Auburn at 2:00 PM.

Be sure to catch all the 30th Anniversary Cebration that will be going on all weekend long on campus. Sunday, November 1st is also senior night, and there will be a Presentation of Flowers to each graduating senior. The seniors aren’t the only one’s that will be walking away will their hands full; you will be too! Blimpie’s Subs will be giving away tweleve inch sub sandwiches for every FSU cornerkick. WBZE will be offering concert tickets throughout the game. AMC Movie Theaters will be giving away movie passes in the AMC Halftime Contest.
