Tallahassee, Fla. – Prior to officially becoming Florida State Seminoles, four incoming freshmen will swim at the Junior National Swimming Championships at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif., Aug. 8-12.
A member of STAR aquatics, Harrison Brogden (Greensboro, N.C.) will swim the 200m fly, 200m back and 100 back.
Also, from North Carolina, Kevin Rogers will represent the Triangle Area -YMCA and will race the 200 back and 100 fly. Rogers also competed in the YMCA Nationals in July. He finished second in the 100m back with the time of 58.07. He also swam the 50m free, placing 11th (24.13) and finished 12th in the 100m fly (57.61).
Josh Friedel (Fredericksburg, Va.) will represent the Rappahannock Rays and swim the 200m back, 100m back and the 100m fly.
Finally, Kaitlyn Dressel (Jacksonville, Fla.) will compete in the 50m , 100m and 200m free events. She is a part of the Bolles School Sharks.
