Atlanta, GA –
The 12th-ranked FSU softball team (41-9, 6-0) will have to wait until Sunday before it gets a chance to extend its 22-game winning streak. After rain washed away the Seminoles’ doubleheader versus Georgia State Saturday, FSU will stay in Atlanta for an ACC showdown with defending conference champions Georgia Tech. The doubleheader with the Yellow Jackets will be played Sunday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. This will be the first meeting between FSU and Tech since the Seminoles advanced to the 2002 College World Series with back-to-back wins over the Jackets at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
