#2 FLORIDA STATE (24-2, 3-0 ACC)

Florida State, ranked No. 2 in this week’s Sports Weekly/ESPN Coaches and Collegiate Baseball polls, continues ACC play with a three-game series against No. 25 NC State in Kinston, NC. The games are scheduled to be played at Grainger Stadium due to construction at Doak Field on the campus of NC State. The Seminoles swept Virginia last weekend in the ACC opening series. The starting pitching trio of Matt Lynch, Trent Peterson and Daniel Davidson combined to allow just one run in 21.2 innings pitched against UVA. Davidson was named ACC co-pitcher of the week as went 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in two appearances (10.1 innings). Davidson struck out 12 without a walk, faced two batters over the minimum and did not allow a runner past second base. FSU leads the ACC with a team ERA of 2.23 and ranks third with a .308 team batting average.

#25 NC STATE (19-4, 0-0 ACC)
