#22 Florida State (34-19, 13-8 ACC)

The Seminoles wrap up the regular season with a three-game series at Wake Forest on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. FSU has won three straight ACC series to improve to 13-8 in conference play. The Seminoles are currently tied for third in the conference standings with North Carolina, but the Tar Heels own the tiebreaker after taking two of three from the Tribe. Virginia (18-6) and Georgia Tech (15-5) are first and second, respectively. The Cavaliers have completed the ACC portion of their schedule and hold the tiebreaker over Tech. The Yellow Jackets are at Maryland this weekend while UNC hosts NC State. Florida State will leave Winston-Salem on Sunday and go directly to Salem, Virginia for the ACC Tournament. Sophomore DH Eddy Martinez-Esteve currently leads the team in batting average (.377), home runs (14) and RBI (58). Senior 2B Bryan Zech (.360, 6 HR) and junior SS Stephen Drew (.338, 12 HR) join Martinez-Esteve as the team’s leading offensive producers.

Wake Forest (17-29, 4-17 ACC)

The Demon Deacons were swept last weekend at Virginia by scores of 5-4, 11-7, 8-6 and fell to High Point 7-6 on Tuesday to bring their record to 17-29 overall and 4-17 in the conference. SS Ben Ingold leads Wake offensively with a .374 batting average and 42 RBI. RF Steve LeFaivre has recorded a team-high 10 home runs.
