#3 FLORIDA STATE (45-12, 12-6 ACC)

The Seminoles, who have swept their last four series (Miami, Georgia Tech, NC State & Duke), stayed No. 3 in this week’s Baseball Weekly/ESPN Coaches Poll. FSU extended its winning streak to 11 games with three wins over Duke on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The Seminoles scored a total of 49 runs against the Blue Devils (second-most ever in an ACC series) and are averaging 12.8 runs per game during the 11-game winning streak. Seven of the nine starters are hitting .320 or higher while seven of the nine regulars have five or more home runs. The Seminoles are led by senior third baseman Ryan Barthelemy (.374, 16 HR, 74 RBI) and junior left-hander Matt Lynch (10-1, 3.63 ERA). Daniel Hodges has emerged as the go-to guy out of the FSU bullpen, earning five of his seven saves against Miami (2), Georgia Tech (2) and NC State (1) over the last four weeks. Hodges leads the squad with an ERA of 2.44 and 25 appearances. His ERA in ACC games is an impressive 1.40. ACC Freshman of the Year candidate Stephen Drew (.397, 10 HR, 39 RBI) is riding a career-long 13-game hitting streak in which he is hitting .509 (29-for-57) with five homers, six doubles and 22 RBI. Sunday is FSU’s last regular season home game and will be senior day at Dick Howser Stadium.
