March 2, 2007

Clemson, SC –
Friday evening found the No. 10 Seminoles their first ACC loss of the season as they fell to No. 31 Clemson in a 4-3 decision. The Seminoles slip to a 7-3 overall season record and 1-1 in the ACC.

Florida State next travels south to Atlanta to take on No. 52 Georgia Tech on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET. The two teams last met in Tallahassee on March 12, 2006 where Florida State defeated the Yellow Jackets in a 7-0 decision.

“It’s been kind of a rough week for us practice wise,” Hultquist said. “We only practice two days and gave the guys off on Wednesday and we didn’t get to practice yesterday because of the rain. We didn’t get up there til ten o’clock so we’ll probably practice harder than we would normally the day before a match because I think we have some things we have to work on and then we’ll give it a go Sunday.”
