No. 58 Florida State Travels To No. 44 Louisiana State

Tallahassee, FL – No. 58 Florida State women’s tennis squad travels to No. 44 Louisiana State University this Friday, February 23. The match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. at the W.T. “Dub” Robinson Stadium. The Seminoles went 2-0 last weekend with a pair of 7-0 victories over Stetson and Florida A&M.

First Serve – LSU
The Seminoles look to face the Tigers for the seventh time in eight seasons. The record between the two teams during that time period is tied at 3-3. The Seminoles fell last season 5-2. The Seminoles will look to tie the all-time series record to 6-6 on Friday; the first match between the schools was in 1982.

FSU vs. SEC
Florida State is no stranger when it comes to playing members of the SEC as it has faced all 12 schools in the conference. The Seminoles hold a record of 42-79 since 1982 against SEC opponents. The Seminoles have already played Georgia this year and face Florida on February 28.
