TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A huge day for Jameis Winston, as well as debuts for former Florida State All-Americans Jalen Ramsey and Roberto Aguayo highlighted Week 1 for former Seminoles in the NFL. The start of the 2016 also provided welcome returns for receiver Kelvin Benjamin and cornerback P.J. Williams, who each missed all of last year with injuries.

Denver 21, Carolina 20
Panthers: WR Kelvin Benjamin caught six passes for 91 yards and a touchdown in his first game since missing the 2015 season with a knee injury. PK Graham Gano made field goals of 44 and 36 yards, but missed a 50-yarder that would’ve won that game as time expired. He also made two extra points.
Broncos: LB Dekoda Watson played as a reserve, primarily on special teams. He downed a punt in the fourth quarter.
Tampa Bay 31, Atlanta 24
Buccaneers: QB Jameis Winston completed 23 of 33 passes for 281 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. K Roberto Aguayo made his only field goal attempt, a 43-yarder, and connected on all four of his extra-point attempts.
Falcons: RB Devonta Freeman rushed 11 tunes for 20 yards. He also added 20 yards on four pass receptions.
Houston 23, Chicago 14
Bears: DT Eddie Goldman started and made six tackles, earned ½ of a sack for 4.5 yards and recorded two QB hurries. LB Christian Jones made two tackles on special teams.
Green Bay 27, Jacksonville 23
Packers: DT Letroy Guion started and had two tackles for loss.
Jaguars: CB Jalen Ramsey started and recorded three tackles and a QB hurry in his professional debut. LB Telvin Smith started and made eight tackles (two for loss). WR Rashad Greene had one catch for nine yards and also returned a punt 14 yards.
Oakland 35, New Orleans 34
Raiders: C Rodney Hudson and RT Menelik Watson both started on the offensive line. K Sebastian Janikowski was 2 for 2 on field goals (47 and 31 yards) and 3 for 3 on point-after attempts.
Saints: CB P.J. Williams started, made five tackles and defended a pass in his professional debut. He missed all of last season with an injury.
Philadelphia 29, Cleveland 10
Eagles: LB Nigel Bradham started and made five tackles in his first game with the Eagles. S Terrence Brooks was inactive.
Browns: C Cameron Erving started on the offensive line. DT Nile Lawrence-Stample is on injured reserve.
Minnesota 25, Tennessee 16
Vikings: CB Xavier Rhodes was inactive.
Titans: OG Josue Matias is on injured reserve.
New York Giants 20, Dallas 19
Giants: OG Bobby Hart did not play.
Detroit 39, Indianapolis 35
Lions: WR Anquan Boldin started and made three catches for 35 yards in his first game with Detroit.
Colts: CB Patrick Robinson started, had five tackles and defended one pass. CB Antonio Cromartie started, made two tackles and defended one pass. Each was making his debut in Indianapolis.

Patriots: OL Tre’ Jackson is on short-term injured reserve.

Steelers: LB Lawrence Timmons (119 tackles, five sacks in 2015) and LB Vince Williams (46 tackles, 0.5 sacks) play for Pittsburgh.
Redskins: K Dustin Hopkins (25-28 field goals in 2015) and RB Chris Thompson (35 carries, 216 yards) play for Washington.
