TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The NFL’s regular season wrapped up on Sunday, and with it came the end of the year for many Noles in the NFL. Rookie quarterback Jameis Winston capped off his first year by becoming just the third rookie in history to throw for 4,000 yards, joining Carolina’s Cam Newton and Indianapolis’ Andrew Luck.
Running back Devonta Freeman also finished a strong season by crossing the 1,000-yard mark in the Falcons’ finale.
Several Seminoles are moving on to the playoffs. Lawrence Timmons, Vince Williams (Steelers), Bryan Stork, Tre’ Jackson, Dekoda Watson (Patriots), Graham Gano (Panthers), Xavier Rhodes (Vikings), Chris Thompson, Dustin Hopkins (Redskins) and Letroy Guion (Packers) are all in the hunt for the Super Bowl.

Falcons: RB Devonta Freeman carried 24 times for 81 yards and added two catches for 18 yards and a touchdown. He finished the season with 1,061 rushing yards, 578 receiving yards and 14 total touchdowns.
