Noles Ready To Impress At Pro Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Jalen Ramsey’s pre-draft tour will stop in Tallahassee Tuesday morning, as he and 12 more former Seminoles look to impress NFL scouts, coaches and executives at Florida State’s annual Pro Day. Ramsey, a two-time All-American (and a freshman All-American before that) at FSU, is projected as a top-five pick and there’s even been some buzz that the Tennessee Titans might take him first overall.

If they did, it would make FSU the first school with back-to-back No. 1 picks since Southern California in 1968 and 69. Former FSU quarterback Jameis Winston went No. 1 to Tampa Bay last year.

Ramsey may be the highest-profile prospect at Pro Day, but he’s far from the only one. Roberto Aguayo, the draft’s top kicker, is scheduled to participate. As are several former defensive stalwarts, including Nile Lawrence-Stample, Lamarcus Brutus, Terrance Smith and Reggie Northrup.

The players will take measurements at 9:15 a.m., with scout tests starting at 10 a.m. The event will be streamed live on ESPN3.

The NFL draft begins with the first round on Thursday, April 30, and will continue through the weekend.
