TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — There’s a reason that Oklahoma is bringing a No. 1 ranking with it to Tallahassee for this Saturday’s big-time ballgame.

The Sooners (1-0) are the considered to be the top team in the nation because they are loaded across the board.

In their first and only game of the season so far, the high-octane, hurry-up OU offense racked up 663 total yards in a 47-14 win over Tulsa. Defensively, the Sooners are quick to the ball and boast impressive sideline-to sideline speed.

“They got other guys, they’re going to get their numbers — they’re going to get theirs,” FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher said about Oklahoma. “They make plays when they’re covered. They make the plays when you think you’ve got them stopped — you do what great players do. They do what great players do. That’s what makes them a good team.”
