The Florida State women’s basketball team would like to thank its wonderful Seminole fans for all of their support this season, including the record 6,309 fans that helped the Seminoles beat No. 7 North Carolina last Friday night.  Now the Seminoles want those fans and more to help Paint it Pink Tallahassee!  That’s right, it’s Paint it Pink weekend at FSU with numerous events taking place in support of breast cancer research, the Kay Yow WBCA Cancer Fund and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

5K Race for a Cure

Florida State and Zeta Tau Alpha sorority are partnering for a very special event … a 5K Race for the Cure.  This race, which is being coordinated by FSU’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, will take place on Saturday, February 21st at 10 a.m., starting in front of the Westcott Building on Copeland Street on the Florida State campus.  You can register right here at Seminoles.com at REPLACE_ME.

The entry fee includes a t-shirt and a ticket to the FSU vs. Miami women’s basketball game on Sunday, February 22nd at 1 p.m.

FREE Pink T-Shirts to the first 2,000 fans

Commemorative Pink T-shirts will be passed out to the first 2,000 fans in attendance at the FSU vs.  Miami game on February 22nd at 1 p.m.

Silent Auction

Fans will have the opportunity to bid on items ranging from FSU memorabilia to hotel stays on the concourse at the Tucker Center.  You need to be at the FSU vs. Miami game on February 22nd at 1 p.m. to bid on these wonderful items.

“Shirts Off Your Back” Auction

Fans will have the opportunity to bid on FSU’s game-worn pink warm-ups on the online auction right here on Seminoles.com.  Stay tuned for more information. 

Shots for a Cure

Following FSU’s game vs. Miami on February 22nd, fans will have the opportunity to come down to the court and shoot free throws with the Seminoles.  Fans can pledge any monetary amount for every free throw made with all donations going to Breast Cancer Research.

Chow for Yow – with Coach Sue

Right now on Seminoles.com, fans have the opportunity to bid on a dinner for two with Coach Sue and the Seminole coaching staff at Coach Sue’s house.  Bidding for this very special event will close on Wednesday, February 25th.

In addition to these exciting events, there will be a Survivors Recognition at halftime of the Florida State vs. Miami game on February 22nd and a raffle for a limited number of pink Crocs.
