TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
Golfers in Tallahassee for FSU’s first home game Sept. 18 against UAB can be among the very first to play the newly redesigned Don Veller Seminole Golf Course during its Grand Opening. Limited to just 128 players/32 teams, the Inaugural FSU Alumni/Bank of America Home Opener Golf Classic, will benefit the FSU Alumni Association.
Participants will be among the first to play the totally new 18-hole layout, with its true-rolling TifEagle greens, sporty new hazards and lush, rolling fairways. This scramble-format golf outing is scheduled to allow golfers to enjoy a full breakfast, 18 holes of golf, a reception, with the presentation of some unique gifts and great prizes, and still have plenty of time to attend traditional football pre-game events. Get more information and register online at www.fsu.com/golfTournament.
Special prizes, including a new Toyota and a $10,000 CD from Tallahassee State Bank will be awarded for holes-in-one.
Prices for individual golfers are: Team of four–$500; Individual golfer/general public–$125; Dues-paying Alumni Association member or Leadership Conference participant–$100.
