Mmmm, the fresh mountain air of Provo, Utah. I can smell it already. We are a couple days away from one of the
biggest games of the year, #7 BYU in their home turf. I have a lot of admiration for BYU. Reading news articles and hearing interviews,
they express nothing but class. They represent
much more than football-- which falls toward the bottom of their priority list--but
the impressive thing is how well they play the game. This team proves the theory that what someone
does off the field has a direct correlation to what happens on the field. This team takes care of business and handles
everything they do with maturity and whole-heartedness and it transfers
straight over to game day.
The thing I am happy to see is that our team has a lot of
guys with the same characteristics. I
can't express the change that I have seen in our team over the past couple
years. This year might not have started
off the way we wanted it to, but the character on this team will make sure that
this season only goes up from here. I
have already learned a lot from BYU in such a short period of time and am
looking forward to our match on Saturday evening.
