Prelims Update: Seniors Shine

ATLANTA, Ga. – Four Seminoles earned a spot in finals and one school record was broken on the first morning of individual events at the 2011 Men’s ACC Swimming Championships.

Senior Robby Hayes will be seeded first in the 200 individual medley in finals thanks to a school record breaking performance of 1:46.06. He will be joined in the final by fellow senior Rob Holderness who is seventh (1:47.78).

Senior Ian Rowe got the Seminoles off to a good start placing fourth in the prelims of the 500 free with a time of 4:22.08.

In the 50 free sophomore Mark Weber will be seeded seventh (19.94) and sophomore Trice Bailey is tied for 15th (20.28).
