TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – How good was the first goal in Florida State’s 5-0 victory over No. 16 Wake Forest. Good enough to earn a spot on ESPN’s Top 10 plays from Thursday night.

Freshman Toni Pressley got the ball rolling for the Seminoles connecting on a header inside the left post in the 32nd minute to give Florida State the early lead. Junior Becky Edwards received a pass from sophomore Rachel Lim and sent a beautiful ball into the box where Pressley timed her run perfectly redirecting the ball into the net for her second goal of the season.

In case you missed it, here’s the clip from last night’s goal that came in at number 10.

The Garnet and Gold will return to the pitch on Sunday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m. against No. 9 Duke. The game will be shown live over the internet on ACC Select, while fans can stay up-to-date with all the action as gametracker will be available for the contest.
