TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The 24th-ranked Florida State softball game versus Iowa State was cancelled today because of heavy rain in Tallahassee. The game will not be made up at this time.

The Seminoles are 19-9 overall and 3-2 in ACC action. The Cyclones and the Tribe played 2 1/3 innings before the contest was called. Florida State had registered two hits: Lesley Palmer had one and Veronica Wootson was credited with the other.

FSU will travel to Fullerton, Calif., for the 2005 Kia Klassic with its first game taking place Thursday at noon (ET) against No. 5 Texas.
