TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The 21st-ranked Seminole softball team (50-18) was scheduled to face the loser of the Georgia Tech/Chattanooga game at 6:00 p.m. this evening but Mother Nature has not been cooperating. All of Saturday’s games have been canceled at the 2002 NCAA Tallahassee Regional due to rain and have been rescheduled for Sunday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Seminole Softball Complex.
Georgia Tech and Chattanooga will complete their game, which was entering the bottom of the 7th with Tech up 3-0; at 9:30 a.m. Florida State will play the loser of that contest at 10:30 a.m. for the right to play in the final scheduled for 1:00 p.m. If it is necessary to play another game, it will take place 35 minutes after the completion of the 1:00 p.m. game.

10:00 A.M. Florida State versus either UTC or Georgia Tech
1:00 P.M. Championship Game
35 minutes after the 1:00 P.M. game finishes the ‘if necessary’ final game will be played.
