Sarah Griffin, Andrew Wilson, and Isaiah Swann Go To Sabal Palms Elementary School

April 26, 2005

On Saturday, April 9th Sarah Griffin showed why she won the 2005 Impact Award for community service. She spent two hours running a game booth at the Sabal Palms Elementary School carnival. Her game booth gave kids an opportunity to throw baseballs at a target that clocked how fast they were throwing. She had a great time playing and joking with the kids and they tried to throw strikes.

Seminole basketball players Andrew Wilson and Isaiah Swann also attended to sign autographs for the children. They took a stab at Sarah’s game booth as well, but struggled to thro strikes. It was a great time for these student athletes because it gave them an opportunity to play with the kids who come to watch them compete.
